Dr Catherine Jones is the Director of the Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC). Her work is driven by the aim of improving understanding of autism and supporting better outcomes for autistic people.

Jake is a PhD Student at Cardiff University with Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) and Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC), investigating sensory processing differences in autism.
In Episode 13 of our second series, Murray chats with Jake about his research at Cardiff university. Jake's research explores the sensory processing differences in autism using neuroimaging techniques known as magnetoencephalography (MEG) with devices such as the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and the Optically Pumped Magnetometer (OPM).
